Re: Anyone out this morning?

We were out. It was just below 60 here but humid. We saw nothing. It'll be in the 80's this afternoon so we're done for the day. Weather may keep us out of the woods until late in the week.

Re: Too warm in pa to hunt for me

I'm a little south of you and it will be about 60F degrees in the morning. I'd like it to be 10 degrees cooler, but we'll be out there since its the archery opening day in VA and our first chance at a buck. I saw a really nice one about 15 minutes before sunrise on Tuesday that walked to within 25 s...

Re: Spitfire Broadhead Question

Anyway, I just saw some Spitfire Triplex broadheads which look basically the same but are all silver and have a 2" cut diameter. Has anyone here tried them or have any knowledge about them and what are your thoughts? Accuracy, durability, etc... I bought a pack and shot them last season and had no ...

Re: Micro Split Limb

So have you got this new front Riser n limbs yet ? What is diff on it from the other Riser n front end ? I had this same issue with my Micro 335 Gen 1 a couple weeks back. Got an RMA and shipped to Woodys on Monday, received replacement front end back on Friday and hunted with it Saturday. Consider...

Re: Favorite broadheads?

I'm a big fan of the Rocket Sidewinder (1.5") and Hammerhead (2"). It doesn't hurt that I can get them delivered for under $20 a pack. The couple packs of Spitfire XXX (2") and Spitfire Maxx (1.75") that I tried also worked well, albeit weren't as soft on the wallet. Due to rocky soil, all my heads ...

More freezer meat

This is the final week of the doe only gun season in Loudoun County VA, but I decided I needed to take the Micro out anyway. After about two hours in the stand wishing I had put another layer on due to the wind, I finally saw deer. Six doe made their way down the ridge my direction. I wanted to take...

Re: Venting and asking for input

I see two issues. 1) Lack of payment when the job is complete. 2) A two year backlog of work. The first one is easier if you address them both. Asking for full payment upon order is totally reasonable for custom work. But having to wait two deer seasons for delivery leaves a lot of room for forgetfu...
