Re: OPTI™SPEED™ VELOCITY CALIBRATED BDC CROSSBOW SCOPE

ALL Chinese scopes are heavy! It is much easier to make something strong if it is also big and heavy. Leupold has figured out how to make a scope strong and have good optics and still be small and light. If weight is a concern, I don't think Chinese optics are for you. What this scope has going for ...

Re: OPTI™SPEED™ VELOCITY CALIBRATED BDC CROSSBOW SCOPE

I contacted Truglo customer service to inquire as to what this scope weighs. Their response: The weight of the TG8514BLC scope with the rings is 1.2lbs ( 19.2oz ) Most standard 30mm rings are about 5-6 ounces. If you replaced them with ultralite rings ( say 2.5 ounces ) you would have yourself a pr...

Re: Any bear hunters? What's your favorite...

I'm 12 and a half, but my Dad took me hunting on his back when I wore diapers. I shot my first rabbit and turkey when I was 3 years old with a 410 double barrel. I shot my first deer the day before I turned 8. I have hunted and taken deer, hogs, Ibex, Bison, three different rams, muntjac, mountain ...

Re: Boofests of the past

Not long after a friend of the host dropped by in his cruiser .  Oh yeah! The said perp turned white as a sheet! Wasn't it like 3 TIME...
