Stolen ATV

Postby Farmer » Thu Jun 15, 2017 8:11 am

Stolen in Tilbury Ontario
Some low life visited my shed last night and stole my ATV. It is a red 2003 Arctic cat 500i, 5 speed manual. Other thing to identify the machine, kenda bear claw tires,2500 # Warn winch, heated hand grips and thumb warmer, melted plastic headlight bezel right side. Ram ball mount right handle bar, 12 volt toggle switch, left handle bar. Custom made 2" receiver hitch on the back. Seat cover has been replaced, replacement in sewn in the rear. Reverse shifter bezel has been drilled and has 2 machine bolts with chrome washers holding it in place. There is a new 25 gallon ATV spray system and a 12 foot boom with it. (Custom made to fit the 2" receiver.)
Anyone with information can message me here. A reward to it's return and info on the thieves.

All I can say is if I find out who the culprits are they will find it is not the police they need to fear !

Do you have any pictures?
Also I would put an add on Kijiji with that description.
Good luck finding those scumbags.

Well with close to 300 shares on FB and some tips from some great people , I was able to get the pieces of the puzzle put together and my Quad has been returned . It has a flat , right headlight is missing as is the mirror , ram mount , gps , and power cable > The 25 gallon atv sprayer and 12 foot boom have been returned . A good friend checked a few things out for me and must of put the fear of the Lord into a young lad and it was delivered to his house !

I will be paying the young lads a visit as well as the parents of one of the boys as they were storing my quad in their garage ! What is the dam world coming to ?!!

Will have to give my machine a look over tomorrow and see if much else is messed up ! Hopefully not

Good to hear that you got it back! I wouldn't expect that you get anywhere with his parents, its usually poor parenting that contributes to acting in such a way.

I'm glad you got your quad back !

I'm not sure how the law or courts work north of the border ? BUTif mine was stolen under similar circumstances I would get his name and swear out a warrant for his arrest... as well as the others who helped him in any way.

Following that I would try and get their parents to pay to bring it back to origional condition at the time of the theft.

If that response was rejected I would thing bring suit for dammages and your legal costs..... Perhaps they or their homeowners insurance would step up and make it right at that point ?
