Bowstring Damage?

Post by Mnlc901 » Thu Oct 19, 2017 9:26 pm

This is a Micro 355. I've only had it since around July/August and haven't done anything to cause this. I'm shooting the Quill arrow at 400 grains (the arrows that came with it). Has anyone had this happen?

Hopefully the pic comes through.

No picture but I'm assuming you have either a chewed up or cut center serving. Nonetheless, your aluminum nocks may be the culprit. I can't tell without pics. If it's worn from the nocks, sand the edges lightly to break the edges and smooth nicely. If the jaws are where the wear is showing the easiest thing to do is polish them. To learn how to do this correctly, go to the website for detailed instructions. Keep us posted.
