Today’s crossbows are faster than ever before. Faster crossbows can deliver more downrange energy.
Optimizing length can provide better balance while shorter crossbows can be better suited for maneuverability and tight spaces.
The weight shown on the left is the overall weight without accessories installed, while the weight on the right is the weight with all included accessories installed.
Draw effort is the weight of resistance while cocking a crossbow. Most crossbows require minimal effort to draw with a cocking aid.
Modern crossbows are drawn back with a cocking aid. Excalibur crossbows use attachable cranks, integrated cranks, and rope cockers to achieve as little as 12 lbs of draw effort.
Introducing the Assassin 400 TD – the latest addition to the most advanced Micro crossbow platform in the world! Not only does it feature the Quick-Loc Technology takedown system, a completely silent integrated Charger crank, the Pro-Shot, rifle-grade 2 stage trigger and Anti-Dry Fire, but what makes this Assassin stand out are the new High-Output Express limbs with Armor Tips. This gives the Assassin 400 TD the narrowest profile of the entire Assassin family, while still cranking out arrows at blistering speeds up to 400fps!
My second Excalibur Crossbow and it's an awesome upgrade.
This one is smaller, faster, deadly accurate, and the built in cocking unit is a breeze to use. I was very happy with my Phoenix but I love the Assassin. The ability to break down the Assassin is so great and so easy. . Love the trigger, crisp clean break and its compact size makes it fun and easy to shoot offhand. Changing a worn or broken string on any Excalibur is a huge advantage over all compound limb crossbows. The included case is perfect and it takes up so little space compared to my full sized phoenix and it more than holds everything you need to carry in the field. I haven't used a chronograph yet but i'm seeing claims of about 380 feet per second with stock arrows and string. Love the adjustable stock and I am also happy with the Tact-100 Scope, easy to set up and adjust by arrow velocity and the glass is clear, flip up lens covers and a neoprene scope cover are also included as well.
One fun fantastic complete package !
Sold my old Excalibur Phoenix Crossbow to a friend and he's happy with it.
I had questions about a crossbow with 1 string to be accurate and with amazing speed...the Assassin 400 TD
Answers all those questions with great technology and precision... Shot 2 doe and a buck last year with ease about 40 to 50 yards and they never new it was coming.
Never thought i would be a crossbow hunter....it's so fun to show people how fast you can put it together and take ut apart
super accurate ..Shoots deadly every time.. Thanks, Excalibur, you've made a great crossbow and a new customer very happy
