She brought an Equinox for me  Very nice present, I actually got it in November. She gave it early so I could use it this year.

All I can say is...WOW! Awesome deer, enjoy the steaks! 260 pounds, that would be 2 deer down here in Maryland.

Doing the same here in Maryland. THe doe population is way out of wack and it is fun going on doe hunts. Every now and then I do get a nice buck, but the most of my hunting is looking for doe's. Anyway antlers don't make good stew.

Excellent post, I bet you're not alone. :) Conrats on filling your tags, I have a way to go. We can shoot 36 in southern Maryland and have only 8 so far this year. :o 2 with the Equinox, 4 with a bow and a couple with blackpowder. Hope to get a couple more this weekend.

I've started using 3" quick spin on my carbon bolts. They seem to fly just as good as the 5", however I have not tried shooting my broadheads yet. I just put these together last evening and have only 2 done, but so far they seem fine. Have shot them out to 65 yds and they seen to be workin...

A Boo string is a string made by a member here named Boo.. Awesome stuff. I am thinking you are measuring your brace height from your limbs, you want to do it from where your riser hits the rail. I keep mine at 1 1/8" from the rail. a good compromise between speed and noise/vibration. The clos...

Okay, another new guy asking a question...what are Boo string's and how does one get them. Second does anyone have advice when it comes to proper brace height, what is the proper brace height for an Equinox? I am new to this and haven't a clue, just been guessing. Rite now I am at about 3.5 inches, ...

Very good advice and I think that may be the reason that some states still do not allow the use of mechanical broadheads. I personally use Scorpions and have never had a failure (6 years), even practice with them with my recurve @ 52#s. I think that whenever you add moving parts into an equation you...

Try using Word, then just cut and paste your response into the forum. Just a suggestion. Works for me.
