Hi Kuff's, hope maybe I may be able to help. Your choice of machine will rely on riding conditions and style. If you like riding railbeds/flat sections and running at high speed, especially cornering, then the SRA (straight rear axle) is for you. If you like the technical trail riding and riding com...

Yes Chris, it is an Akbash. Surprised someone knew about them, not too many around. When we got her had to go through an elaborate interview and NO ANIMALS sold to persons living in populated areas. You also must have livestock fir them to protect, which she does very well. They are VERY territorial...

Thank's for the Christmas wishes Kirk. Also like to wish you and your's a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year. Yeah Wabi, pepper spray may just tick her off, and it takes a LOT of treats to satisfy her. She loves the shotgun hunt, as the neighbours place turns into the local butcher shop a...

We also heat with wood ONLY. Have a Pacific Energy woodstove. This thing will run 12 hrs on a load of wood, I know, as I sometimes work 10 hr shifts which means 12 hrs away from home. It is also a 85% efficiency stove. Make sure when you buy that you look at the efficiency rating or you may be throw...

I would have to agree that the hotwire fence will not deter deer at all. We run them on our property all around both pasture and have even had to replace some of the ribbon type that the deer have run through. The snapping will not keep them away, believe me, they actually get quite curious by natur...

Just thought I would share a couple pics taken while sitting in the hot tub in the backyard. Life is tough. Just thought I would add that Angler's Outfitter's in Woodstock has a whole rack full of the olive colour units, plus refill packs. He has no camo ones though.
I picked up two camo units at Stratford CT and they are getting more in, per outdoors clerk.

Beautiful pic. We also have them around here, that and mink. Dog even got three this year, right into the pond after a mink. Mink can do a fair bit of damage to a fish pond, I like to keep my perch for my own consumption.
