Myself I use DOW insulating foam (blue), which is comes in 4*8 sheets 2inches thick. I cut them down so I have a target 4*4 * 12 inches thick, and this last me one season.

Just started testing with these myself. So far I thinking that these vanes would work best on bolts with higher F.O.C's. But time will tell..............

I'm going to try NAP QUIK SPINS today. I fletched three with the 4 inch QUIK's on 1 degree straight ( arizona fletcher). The bolts are 19 inches with 125 gr bullet points, these GT L2's are not equipped with GT's F.O.C weighting system and have a 13% F.O.C. I won't be doing any chrony work, I'm just...

One of my vari-zone is weird, It has a "L" with a counter-clock wise rotation. But if I look very carefully it looks like someone has used a fine marker and put "R" over-top of the "L". Has anyone had this?

Durability was the reason I personally stopped using feathers. I found myself re-fletching a few bolts after each 3-D shoot I went to, which started driving me NUTZ.......

Greywolf

Are you liking those NAP QUIK SPIN fletches? I'll be trying them out this friday, on a GT L2 with 1 degree offset. Definitly a heavy fletch, just hope they work....

I'll just say if the AK-48 is built with the same quality as the AK-47, it will have years of service but won't hit Sh...........you just can't shoot a crossbow like a sub-machine gun.

Now how do you guy's find hunting with dual stabilizers? The last hunt I was on in January was in some semi-tight bush ( on the ground), eye pokers everywhere.

Zeke

I'm not a duravan fan myself, I have always used rubber when I don't want things to slip. I now use 5" Marco vanes with a right helico for my hunting shafts, but I recommend you try many. What shoots good for me and my equipment, might not be right for you.

Myself, I gave-up on trying to queit the string. Most silencers I have tried self-destructed after a few shoots. Or they reduce my velocity alot, for the amount of sound they reduce.

Nice set-ups! I was thinking of going with a double but weight was a concern, but as it turned out the exocet only needed one. I was also trying to keep my stabilizer even with the stock, since I do alot of bench style shooting. I think I'll make a couple more bracket today, just so I have options t...
