Ok Guys I’m confused here so bear with me as I go through this. This scope is a hawke SB30 2.5 x 8. My problem is at 30 yds, I have to use my 40 yd pin to hit dead on but I will describe my sighting. EXCALIBUR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!!!
Many in this forum have followed my string issue with my Assassin With great interest and I posted their findings in my original post and will not delve into that here. What I do want to say is what they did for me. First they replaced my original string, then said that Excalibur will be sending me ...

Re: Assassin String advice
UPDATE Well my Assassin is on it’s way back to me, Peter talked to the warranty depot who was doing the work. He said one of the first things they noticed was that I twisted the string in the wrong direction and that’s what caused my serving separation. He said they polished the latches for me (but ...

Re: Assassin String advice
I've been away at a trade show and just read through this thread. First off, 50 shots from an Assassin string is not what we've been seeing in the extensive testing we did on this crossbow. I just talked to our team who did the Harrisburg show and they only replaced the string once and that Assassi...

Re: Assassin String advice
By the way, has anyone stopped to ask the OP if he is offended? Has anyone considered that we just might be embarassing this gentleman with all this haggling and possibly unwanted attention? Careful guys, the OP has the right to ask that the thread be deleted and Peter will be compelled to do so up...

Re: Assassin String advice
Just got notification to send my Assassin to their warranty center in Michigan. I was surprised they didn’t have me send it to Danny Miller in Ohio, I don’t know if that’s because of the claws located in the carrier and if it’s something that’s new in how they handle claims with the Assassin but it...

Re: Assassin String advice
It looks like separation not from the claws imho. Did you adjust the string? If so what way did you twist it? I did adjust the string Newbie and I turned it counter clockwise to set it so it’s 1/4 inch from the reds. After using a old sting to engage the trigger mech to drop down the claws, I used ...
