Get my daughter out to harvest her fist deer. She should have time now after returning from university in Australia.

I seen a bunch of deer this season, fawns right up to a 6 point. One 4 pt in the freezer and it felt good to back in the woods after a long layoff.

Close call for sure John.

I always wore a floater coat over top of my waders in duck season just for this reason. Give it try it may save your life. I have seen someone go in 10 feet of water like this and come out dry.
