Re: Dr. Stirrup install question

Not sure if this is the recommended way or not, but when I installed them on my bows I had one that was unusually harder to get out than the others. I think I found a real thin screwdriver shaft and poked the cap from behind by using one of the holes for mounting the rail. Just be careful not to da...

Dr. Stirrup install question

How to I remove the rail cap? Also, does the lock washer go over the large washer when screwing into the rail? Thank you.

Re: New big foot stirrup

On my 2 405s and 400, I have removed the Air Brakes and only have the Dr Stirrup on the one I can more easily rope cock (400) . I found the Dr Stirrup greatly reduces back strain on cocking. The 405s have stirrups wrapped in an aircraft adhesive strip (much like a tennis racket handle wrap) , with ...

if you dont send the riser in i would at least get the new spacers. chocking those limbs at the recoil plates in my opinion cant be good. ive been running my modded riser and spacers a few years now. no issues and only run factory strings.
Well I have the airbrakes on.

Excalibur 405 riser opinion

I'm sending in something else for warranty work and I'm considering also sending in my old limbs/riser for the new version. That way I can combine shipping. How much FPS will I lose and do you guys think it's worth the loss? There aren't issues at the moment but they've told me a few times that I co...

Re: What kind of serving jig?

Boo said he likes the spigarelli he just found it was to hard to tighten enough. He said he was going to swap it to a wing nut. And where does he say how to modify the Cavalier? I haven't seen him say that anywhere.

Re: What kind of serving jig?

The Bearpaw seems nice and some people really love it but then there are some that very passionately hate it... So that makes me question that one.

Re: What kind of serving jig?

The spigarelli is the cheapest too. 15 dollars from Lancaster archery. I can just pick it up next time I go to Lancaster. It looks like it would bend because the pins are so small. But I guess them being so short really helps prevent them from bending.

Re: What kind of serving jig?

Boo recommends the Cavalier serving jig. He’s the string guru for sure so at least I follow his advice. Good luck! I use the cavalier some as well but you need to reinforce the tubes that the serving material rides on or they will bend. If the original tubes are not bending then you are not using e...

What kind of serving jig?

I'm looking into reserving myself. I think it's between the spigarelli, bearclaw, and Cavalier Pro. These are all right about the same price. Everyone recommends the beiter tool but I don't want to spend 50 for it. I think I'm gonna go with the spigarelli but just wanted to see what you say. Thanks.

Re: Please help me match a serving Jig with a spool of serving

Before I call does anyone know how much he charges for a spool? Too bad I didn't think of this before I just received the 2 strings I ordered from him today. Would have been nice to combine shipping. And also how much better is it than the . 026? I could pick that up from Lancaster archery next time...
