Re: Slick Tricks shooting like fieldpoints???
I've been shooting slicks since I bought my first Excal 7 yrs ago. I tried other bhds . Everyone wants their bows to shoot point of aim with their field pts..Field points are for shooting targets ,Bhds are for putting meat on the table. If your bhds are a little out of the field pt group. adjust you...

Re: New Exomax or Exocet?
Ive had both. You can practice alot more with the exocet because of the poundage . All the speed in the world doesn,t kill if you cant put the arrow in the right spot./ I. throw 20 to 40 bolts every other day . The exomax poops me out and my accuracy sufferers. Ive killed many hogs deer and an elk w...

Re: Used Excals - Anyone ever notice this...
Well I can't speak for everyone but when I bought my first xbow bigger and faster were the reason to buy. now as I've gotten older all the #s and fps can not take the place of a well plced shot. with the liter bows you can practice more with less fatigue, speed is wasted on the passthrough losing a ...

Re: RECURVE OR COMPOUND
have been shooting a xbow for about 5yrs now, own both recurves and compounds. both are very accurate, the compound must be serviced regularly to keep it shooting accurately, recurves you just change the string yourself, compds are heavier, recurves are wider, dollar for dollar recurves are cheaper for ...

Re: mechcanical verses fixed blade on pigs
Stay with a fixed BHd. less chance for something to go wrong. Wild pigs will hurt you when they are wounded. Montec or Slicks are what I use and what I recommend to visiting hunters.

which calibur
I've shot every calibur mention sofar. If your recoil sensitive like me due to injuries and just one rifle. The 260 Rem and the 6.55 x55 are your best choice. Better ballistic than a 243, much better bullet choices, retains velocity and knockdown at exteme ranges. Oh yea the 7mmo8 not bad either.
