i ordered 2 dozen bolts from greywolf and could'nt be happier.

my only gripe w/ his bolts(gold tips) is they are harder to pull out of my mckenzie 3 d deer than 2219 alums.

they usually hang up after that

i enjoy NAHC magazines but got tired of returning stuff(books and tapes)

nice find cf-- has the snow melted down your way? we still have a lot on the ground--along with some ice. a buddy of mine found 12 sheds in a two acre cedar thicket. he said thats where they go to get out of the wind.

no i look for a broadhead that flys good in relation to field points. so for fixed heads i use slick tricks and mechanicals i use rocket steelhead's series with the energy of a xbow(even a 165#)-penetration should not be a problem in deciding if you need a cut on contact bh. if you had a 45# recurve...

what seems like half the weight of other top end xbows, the extra width of the excals far outweigh the heaviness of other crossbows--IMO--esp after 6 hours in a treestand.
