question on vari zone scope

i have a exocet 200 and the vari zone scope. i have not shot it much(maybee 25 times) i shoot both 2219 w/ 100 gr tips and also have some gold tip lazer II w/ 100 grain tip. my question is which setting should i turn to on my scope? 300? 325?

used a REDFIELD wide angle 2-7 last year w/ great results. i think i zeroed it in for 20 yards. i now have a vari zone for this year.

LAST year i killed deer w/ my xbow using both the 2 1/4 & 4 inch quickspins. the 2 1/4 qs were used only w/ mechanicals.

i have a bolt lodged in my yellow jacket BH TARGET from my 10 pt last year. i have about 1/2 inch to try to pull the bolt out the target. i cant do it w/o taking a knife and cutting it up. so right now that target is just being used as a backstop behind one of my 3d der targets. by a block 4x4 for b...

do you think petersons will have a magazine for 2006? i loved the 2005 annual. i was kind of hoping that there would be enough interest to do a bimonthly petersons crossbow hunting. i will settle for a annual for now.

last year i ended up using a redfield "wide angle" 2x scope. it works great in low light conditions.

deer/bear

very cool mounts!!! is that a virginia buck? if i ever get a bear, i may get it mounted like yours. ive been trying now for 3 years(season is only 4 days) and keep comming up short. last year, i had 3 bears run by me the day after the season closed. oh well, maybee this year.

i used to go thru that routine w/ my wife. i finally told her that i make the money and i can spend it any way that i see fit. i reminded her that she works for me and i pay her $1,000 a week to work part time at my practice. plus-she gets her car paid for by me. she shut up after that.

last year...

last year i shot 15 deer w/ mostly slick tricks out of my 10 pt. the farthest one went only 40 yards. most piled up in sight. ive been reading on othere sites that the blades on slick tricks may not be sharp. the batch of ST's that i got were fine--no honing necessary. i will be using ST's this year...
