Correct me if i'm wrong, but i've heard you can also attach tenpionts accudraw to the excalibur stocks... just takes putting in a hole in the stock. Oh, and the $200+ for the accudraw itself...
I personally bought a crankeroo for my max, so my dad can use it.

The only Excalibur I have (so far) is a Max, and I'm very happy with it. The only maintenance so far is waxing the string & serving. although the serving is getting a bit worn after approx 200 shots. I'll need to learn to serve sometime soon. But if that's all I need to do, so what... It's one h...

I don't think so if you're choosing Excalibur.

You cant go wrong no matter which one you choose.

If the price is right on the Exomag grab it up.

They are becoming collectors' items as no more will be built.. ;)
I agree with Woody!

My dad just had his shoulder replaced a few weeks back. He's had a lot of trouble with it since he was in highschool, and this replacement was a last resort. He had too much pain to ignore, so he had it done. His goal is to be able to lift his hand to the top of his head by deer season, and he may n...

The chances are you're only going to get one shot anyway, no matter if you're able to shave a few decibels off the shot. So my advise is practice making a good shot...

Welcome :D :D
Sounds like your getting yourself set up with all the xbow equipment just fine!!! I think it's great you're honoring the loss of Bully by using his name in your forum handle.
Have you ever shot or been around crossbows? What got you interested?

Welcome VA.
The best advise I can give is to really spend some time and go thru some of the past posts here on the forum. Just about every subject has come up and discussed in length at one time or another, and there's some really good info in here.

How do you like the teflon so far, and do you have any more input on the foam filling? How much of the quieting effect are you attributing to the foam vs. the stock?
