Hey Mark: Are you Guys going for a "Trophy" or what ever one will fill the freezer? Because, you do realize, we will have to compare pictures after eh!  I think I will be getting two tags this season to do my part on Bear control in the Municipality I'm located. Good Luck Frie...

Almost Time for Bear

I'm going up to my place this weekend in wmu 40, clear an area for Bear
and do some fishing. Bear starts Aug. 15, I stalk with Gun and tree stand with Exmag. Anyone else going up for Bear this season?

I'm really getting the jitters for Hunting, if I do any more practice I'll puke! :) :)

Ninepointer:

I too am a member on three other forums using different handles, and for different hunting arms. I also find this one quite good. There is never to much talk on information (hunting) as new things keep coming out to be tried and tested.

2 Thumbs up for this Forum! :) :)

Ch312: Remember I said I'm not being cynical, just ask all the sites, but you will find the answers you need here. You will still have to take everything everyone tells you and try them , then make up your own mind. I was speaking of questions your asking in general, not just this group. The more si...

Range accurracy pen

Also there are quite a few good Broadheads out there that will fly very close to field point accuracy, Wasp Boss, Slick Trick. Muzzy, Rocky Mtn, etc. etc. Better when you have good helical, nice offset fletching. 4 deg. or better.

Ch312:

Have you noticed how much better "X-Bow archery" information you get from this forum than the other one you ask the same questions on?
This is a point of fact statement, not to be cynical.

Ask the rest, then ask the best!

P.S.: Carbons are better.

Speedball: 431 gr. is got some nice K.E. at around 300fps or better. My Bolts with the Wasp Boss are around 390 gr. to 420 gr. Depending on Gold Tip or Express, Express are a little heavier. I have yet to clock the speed from 200 lb. E-Mag. But if I want a little more punch I will use 125 gr. Wasp B...

Does it matter where you hit the "Hoppy snack" with the Blunts?
I like them snacks, much quieter than my guns. Sometimes Its good to hunt small game and still have quiet.

broadhead accuracy

Hey guys: As you might know already, I only use Wasp Boss heads, and they do shoot very close to field point out to 40 yds. As far as stopping power all broadheads will kill. Its the K.E> behind it that counts. As long as they are razor sharp and hit the kill zone, and leave a hole over 1"in. t...

Digger:

I dont think I would shoot my Mag. at anything small like a rabbit or similiar, with points of any kind, but I may try those blunts you speak of.
Have you tried hunting with them and succeded?

I have an Exomag that is 200 lbs. pull. Very smooth trigger, deadly tight groups, drops big game with ease, wouldn't trade it for any other! :)

Forgot to tell

Davehawk:

I have never tried mineral licks or the likes there of. There is plenty of food all around the adjoining properties of different crops, with really large bush tract in the middle, Deer always come to the property and pond, For years. Just never tried one.
