Washing clothing
What I meant to say was "Scent Killers" not scent blockers(carbon act.) This you can do after you arrive and settle in at your spot even, just keep a small spray with you, especially if you sweat on the way to the stand. Wind is always changing. No offence meant to Brayhaven. However Deer ...

Scent suit
Thanks GaryL.
I believe that this method is far better than going out smelling like
" Downy Fresh". Or for that matter using nothing at all. Even if you set up down wind for the hunt in morning, 3 hours later your up wind.

I do not use scent blocker garments, but I do use Scent Killer Spray system on my clothes, this is not carbon activated but chemical masking.
What or how do they differ?
Anyone?

Brayhaven say's : scent blockers are the second biggest hoax perpetrated on hunters. I think the first biggest hoax perpetrated on hunters is people telling hunters that scent blockers don't work.

I spoke to Bromley and they dont carry the Rhinehardt 18 to 1 Broadhead Target.
They offered me a Morrell Yellow Jacket as a compromise, I said no thank-you.

Washing clothing
Particle:
I usually dont wash any hunting clothes unless they are covered in blood or stink of heavy body odour from lots of sweat in warm weather hunts.
If I must wash them I use hand wash method only with no scent cleaners.
Then hang dry in pine tree's or cedar tree's is very good.

Hi Greywolf: Good shooting! Can you do one thing for me though? I shoot quite a bit also, and after Bench sighting in , the rest of my shooting is from standing or kneeling, one knee. When you target shoot next time could you do the same so I can see where I fit in field shooting wise? Then we could...

GaryL: Personally I can't wait for the 300lb. 500 fps Excal. model to come out.  Hopefully before I'm to old to use it! Are you reading this Excal. Marketing Dude? I find Exc. triggers very smooth, and like I said all their models will do the job, from smallest to Max. Pick the one...

ch312:
Your still a little guy. But more than big enough to handle the Exmax.
With the amount of shooting you will be doing I wouldn't worry to much about pre-mature string wear.
Better to use a rope cocking aid still, why use back to much when you
don't have to.
