Changing nocks
Every one:
I almost forgot, if you are going to file those nocks to flat make sure they are very smooth and keep them square to the Bolt, being careful not to angle file by mistake or leave burs. I believe it is better to change them if that is what you wish to have.

Changing nocks
Ricky: Just a warning in removing the half moon nocks in those Express Bolts. Exercise caution! I just did a set of Express nocks, they are glued in with a plastic adhesive, and even with lot"s of blow dryer power extreme care is required to get them out. I employed a special pair of vise grip ...

Bayonet for sale
Thank"s guys, I laughed for five minutes straight at the replies. I guess I needed a good laugh release
It"s far to long between good laughs!
Still don"t know what"s the bayonet"s purpose though.

Testing Tomorrow
Hi Doxnut: Never shot at targets 40-50 yds. But I might try. But I won"t shoot at any animals that far! I am impressed that all bolts that I shot at thirty yds. were inside of 5" or6" dia. which is more than a clean kill zone, this is the most important test of the X-bow. I will use f...

Tests
Best fun I"ve had since putting the Xbow away in Dec. The first targets I traced a quarter then colourd it black and put it at 20 yds. Shot feathered bolts and plastic fletched bolts. Half moon nocked and flat nocked. All of them shot extremely tight groups with-out any readable difference. At ...

Going to possibly get some new custom Bolts with neat Feathers as discussed with F.S. But will do some tests tomorrow to be sure of a couple of things. All Carbon Express Bolts What will be the diference between plastic fletching on carbons or Feathers? What will be the diference between "V&quo...

Very nice!
I have several Pheasant and Grouse feathers, and these seem like the best thing I could use some for. Could you E-mail me how to have some of the same made!

Oh Woody?
I always practice on range and in the field. This year was the first time a Deer was Hit and still got away, because of a branch that was the same colour as the Deer and delflected the bolt 6" off the vitals. I"m really hoping I don"t need (Practice Police) Maybe just a little b...

Nybow: I am very glad you came on board prepared as well as you are. This is why I like this Forum, good honest debate without aggression or uneducated response. The point you make about Vert . Bows not being able to shoot 360%, they sure can shoot a much biiger radius up a tree than a Crossbow. Whe...

My opinion: Both use broadheads Both use sights Relatively same speeds in flight Same yardage shots Compounds with release triggers Crossbows with triggers Compounds with 75% let off or better Crossbows 100% Mostly only real difference is looks, accuracy same pretty much. I"m thinking Bows are ...
