A true 4 deg helical fletch with vanes will rub the rail and can only slow down your fps but with feathers not as bad. All reading I have done on xbows state to use a straight fletched vane/feather for that reason. Most xbow bolts from the manufacture comes with a 1 too 2 deg. off set..This is not ...

i agree to a point with you gary, but if i bought a new exocet (maybe within the last month), and all of sudden my one month old bow is slightly obsolete, i think that the ability to upgrade it asap, would be a smart business thing to do...this makes more sense now, that most of the lineup will move...

-actually the exomax limbs are the same as all of the other bows...but, take the riser from this bow and retrofit it on all of the 2004 models and what have your got...your 150 # vixen now flys like a bird (phoenix) and your 2004 exocet just got turbo-charged...what about the emag...it's already don...

as jim mentions and i totally agree - i have never had a deer stop and wait for the shot at 10-20-30-40-50 yards dead on the yardage (oh, maybe once)...if it wasn't would you wait until your rangefinder said it was...not for me, bowhunting is challenging enough...so what difference does it really ma...
