HER DIARY_: Tonight: I thought my husband was acting weird. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it. Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but ...

I have had extremely good success rattling. One thing you can be the farm on is he WILL come DOWNWIND. To Combat this, you need a Natural Barrier downwind to you, such as an open field, A steep ridge, a wide creek, or just SOMETHING that will not allow him to get dead down wind of you. There ain't n...

Carrying Extree Bolts

How many of you guys carry Extra Bolts with you when hunting? Here in Missouri, you can sometimes get into some serious shooting. You can shoot one Buck before Rifle Season and One after, and as many does as you can afford, along with turkeys. You can burn up 4 bolts pretty darn quick with 1 kill ea...

My closest has been 10 yards and farthest......Well Heres the story. I was settin watching a travel corridor, I had already shot a buck earlier in the year and had a couple doe tags to fill. While I was settin there, I looked thru the woods, thru a great shooting lane and saw a black oak tree. I ask...

The key that I have found is.........FOLLOWTHROUGH! You should see that arrow hit your target through the scope. A bullet leaves the barrel anywhere between 2500 to 3500 FPS, An arrow or Bolt leaves at 300 or so. That arrow is on the string a LONG TIME before it clears the X-bow compared to a rifle....

Well I will have to tell ya. I was brand new to the crossbow scene a year ago. I came from the traditonal archery crowd, shooting wood arrows and flint heads. Then shoulder surgery changed all of that. I listened, read, and stayed on this site and learned all I could. I already heard that EXCALIBUR ...
