Re: Got my matrix 355... not top quality
The proper protocol is to first contact the dealer that sold the bow. If you don't get to where you want then contact Exvalibur. If at the point you do not get satisfaction then go public. All this over one stinking screw hole? Sigh..."proper protocol"? It's an Excalibur forum, the...

Re: Titanium Diet
Titanium is about 45% lighter than steel meaning this mod will shed about 2 to 2.5 steel screws worth of weight.greybuff wrote:How much weight will changing out 6 or so screws save? What is the cost?

Re: My Opinion on The Matrix 380
But the big thing I see is that the odd vocal person will bitch, whine, complain and tell everyone what should or should not be, even before buying the bow no less! Convince Excalibur to sell the bow bare bones and much of the whining will stop as they'll buy the bow and realize how nice it is, thu...

Re: Rated R
To purposely shoot a deer that way with an arrow is one of the dumbest things I've read. You wouldn't be welcome in my hunting camp. Or most hunting camps for that matter... It's sad when people are so selfish and greedy that they feel the need to take such ridiculous and low percentage shots. I'm ...

Re: Bare bones matrix?
the problem with selling the scope is that the majority of people are switching their scopes out so not much interest out there to buy one of them mine will probly be a paper weight for many years I now see what you're talking about. It appears that not many people are happy with these scopes and i...

Re: Bare bones matrix?
only as a package. I got the 355 about a week ago and now I am stuck with a scope and quiver that will never be used! This is exactly what I'd like to avoid. The stuff can be sold, but I don't need anything except for the bare bow so I'll just end up selling everything. Thanks for the link :D

Bare bones matrix?
Just wondering if the matrix 380 is being sold as a bare bones package as I can't seem to locate anyone who will sell one this way. I can see how excalibur would only offer it as a package to make more $$$, but there are quite a few of us who don't need or want the lite stuff package. Thanks in adva...

Re: Not a rant, just an observation.
The thread on the anti dry-fire was going nowhere and was serving no purpose so we decided to delete it. you guys will delete a thread that's about an excalibur product possibly malfunctioning, yet the multiple threads that truly serve no purpose (other forums trash talking new excalibur's, cabin f...

Re: O/T Shipping Time
I just went and looked at UPS and the cost was considerably more. that's what i was saying :D avoid UPS like the plague...my buddy just got a package today worth $60 from the US via UPS and there was a $32 brokerage fee on it. trust me, i dislike shipping prices as much as the next guy because it's...

Re: O/T Shipping Time
having shipped a couple hundred packages across the country now, it usually takes a week to ship items from ontario in both directions when you pay for regular parcel. considering i've had zero issues with canada post (i avoid couriers like the plague now) i don't really see the problem with this? i...

Re: Interesting to see how the Matrix put forth
Well the whiners need to bitch about something right? the people doing all the complaining here about middleton are no better than those flaming excalibur crossbows on another forum. some have even went as far as attacking someone trying to sell a middleton crossbow in the classifieds, which is tot...

Re: Shipping a scope to Canada
Just spend your money in Canada... ...Never ever really found things any better or cheaper. you REALLY need to shop around. here's a couple examples of our recent purchases from the US. 4 struts here = $950, $440 in the US for exact same thing... 4 tires here = $600 before installation, $360 AFTER ...

Ch312, Canadian tire! Geez man, Don't go there! As an apprentice years ago, I worked there for less than a month. I couldn't stomach it and had to leave. Granted, I'm sure there are good ones around (and good tech's)but company policy is company policy. seeing as each strut only involved re...

Re: Murphy won,t leave
New rad last week in the van. Still need another $500 of work on other parts (strut & a tranny part). You can keep Murphy! just an idea... in november we got a price from canadian tire on 4 monroe quick struts for the car and the total after tax was going to be $950 for the parts only...
