heavier heads isnt an option because i want a cheap way to increase weight.
i know i already have enough energy for deer but i want a heavier bolt for the exomax so there is less stress on the bow.

Weight of inserts?
i was thinking about buying heavier carbons but figured it would be alot cheaper to change the inserts. but, how much of a difference is there between brass and aluminum inserts?
i have gold tip's right now. to change the inserts, do you heat the shaft like aluminum ones to melt the glue?

i just got a reply from bill and he said to shoot the bow and after the season they will replace them.... not really the answer i was looking for because im not comfortable shooting a bow with a damaged limb. over 200lbs of pressure on the limbs (correct?) and if one goes i dont think id be a happy ...

i was shooting my exomax today that i bought a couple months ago. when i brought it inside i noticed that theres a splinter on the inside of the one limb thats 1" long, 1/8" wide and 1/16" deep. i can see the fibreglass on the limb and the splinter so it isnt just paint. im hoping exc...

hmmmm....guess im lucky that i can pick apples from roughly 75-100 trees anytime i want in the fall :wink: take about 200lbs to the bush every fall. im guessing i take more than that but its just a guess. i wonder if they'd like the applesauce i make? still have 2 dozen jars from last years apples :D
