Great photo, that is just working me up for next week when we head out to Wyoming (Big Horn Mountains) for some Mulies for a week. This will be my first trip using my Vortex and I can't wait to go. A lot of practice getting use to a crossbow over my bow but I feel very comfortable now shooting out t...

Most of guys already pretty much said it all - I would not recommend trying to pull back my Vortex without at least having gloves on. Without the rope cocking devise you will probably not get your string centered either. Yes, it would be nice to use your hands in case you ever forgot the cocker, but...

Got my tag for Wyoming Mule Deer so come Sept 1 I will be in the Big Horn Mountains chasing down some nice Mulie on my first attempt with a CB. Looking forward to this verrrry much! :lo...

I normally start at 20 yards - shoot 3, go to 30 yards - shoot 3, go to 40 yards - shoot 3, occasionally I go out to 50 yards - shoot 3 I only shoot 1 bolt at each different target point so your not hitting any other bolts. Like some of the other guys have already said - shoot a few and make'm count...

Actually these look like a version of Asiatic Lilly (Spelling may be off). The shorter vanes coming off the main stem are like the Asiatic - where the tiger lilly has the long vanes. Guess I spent to much time playing with flowers in my latter years - my wife likes that better than when I was gone a...

Gas is about $3.89/gallon here in Minnesota now. I just let my Avalanche sit in the garage unless I need to use it. I just drive the old Grandam to work and have been carpooling with another guy at work so that helps a lot. My cousin came up with a Hydrogen gas system he added to his 1995 chevy car ...

We all owe a lot of Thanks to those that has served in the military for what they gave for the freedoms and way of life we have today. My father was a WWII vet, spoke very little of the years he spent overseas during the war. It was not till years later after my dad died did I find out from his brot...
