I may be in the minority but I do not prefer a full camo bow. I like the contrast of the camo and gray. i could see them making the rails in black so it would match my scope and red dot.I could even see them making an all black bow. Each of us have our own preference in weapons. I am pretty certain ...

First time I shot my phoenix I thought something exploded but found out that the noise is how loud an unsilenced bow shoots. I started practicing using ear muffs since I did not enjoy the noise. I waited several months and bought a Boo string w/ whiskers and a STS. I no longer use the ear protection...

I had a single red dot on my phoenix it was sighted in dead on at 28 yards. I was using the carbon arrows with 100 grain heads-total weight 375grains. The arrow was never more than 3 inches high from 10-20 yards and was 3 inches low at 33 yards. for each yard past 33 yards(up to 40 yards) the arrow ...

They cost about 50.00 and definetly worth the money. I bought one for my phoenix last year along w/ a Boo string. All i can say is i use to practice wearing earmuffs since the noise of a stock bow was annoying. I now find it pleasant enough to shoot w/o the muffs. I bought a vortex and just took eve...

I usually say I don't shoot Bambi I shoot Bambi's father. Now, I can say that I don't shoot the innocent ones only the guilty or the one saying Yeah, I feel a little bad but they taste great. I realized you can't talk to these people so you might as well have some witty comeback :)

Trigger pull- Phoenix versus Vortex

I have been shooting a phoenix since last January and felt it was the smoothest trigger that I have ever owned. I mean just apply steady pressure and off it goes w/o you knowing it. I have been shooting my Vortex and noticed that I have to take out some slack in the trigger and then it goes off smoo...

The first time I shot my phoenix I thought it blew up it was then I realized that these things are loud so I started wearing ear plugs when I shot. After finding this forum I read about silencing these bows and got a STS and BOO string. I was then able to shoot it w/o ear plugs. I live in a suburban...
