i set up a Remington 700 with open sites, added weaver grand slam steel bases with leupold qwik disconnect rings and a Zeiss 3x9 conquest. its diet consists of federal 225gr. trophy bonded bullets. it digests them into really good groups on the bench. may want to try them. $34.00 box. The Advertised 360gr is off the The arrow decision chart on X-Cals web page. The 350gr is in the X-Cal brochure. We weighed the bolt w/head it weighs 354gr on the scale.
I don't think 4gr is SLOWING the bolt that much. Lynn :twisted:

Chronograph

Has anyone Chronographed a ExoMax? or Exomag?
We did:
Exomax=338.6fps @3' with a 360 grain arrow, 100gr tip.
Exomax=318.4fps @3' with a 360 grain arrow, 100gr tip.

So where is the 355fps and 330fps as advertised with a 360 grain?

Thanks, :twisted: Lynn

look also at Leafy-Flage, very similar to the ghillie suit. i have had amazing results with it on Deer. i think it is only avail. at Cabelas now, it is also very lightweight. Lynn :twisted:
