Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
From your picture, I think you need a string changer, string wax, maybe some rail lube and 6 Bee arrows. The string changer is to adjust your brace height or well as changing your string (search brace height here). String wax is to keep string in good shape and lube rail. I put rail lube on the rai...

Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
The Lazer Strike heads were originally made for Cabelas by NAP. They were made to use an o-ring which was the only difference from spitfire heads. Blackouts were made for Bass Pro Shops. Originally they contracted with G5 and those were not offered through BPS. Anyway, good heads! Thanks! So I gues...

Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
You have a Flemish string on it and what looks to be an extra Excalibur Flemish string. No Stringing aid. That should be #1 for you as you cannot adjust your brace height without one. I couldn't zoom in to see the arrows. If you can take a few more pics and post here we will be better able to help ...

Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
Yep exactly, it replaces the scope mount entirely. It's held on by 4 screws, you will also likely need to relocate the arrow hold down spring from on top of the trigger, to the new mounting location under the ADF. Sounds like a lot, but it's really a few minutes work. Screws can be a bit of a pain ...

Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
Which model did you get? As mentioned above, stringing aid and a spare string are the only must haves . If your model does not have a Guardian Anti dry fire, I'd be getting one of those too. Regarding sighting it in, use a soft rest to get you zeroed, either by traditional "zeroing" or ha...

Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
The Exocet is a good first choice...not as good as a Vortex,but..... just kidding. My older Vortex does not have an anti dry fire and personally I don't think it's a requirement on the older bows. It may be a nice add-on later, but it would be down my priority list. Stringing aid is a must ha...

Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
In my opinion, Munch (on this board) makes and sell the best top quiver mounts. He also makes and sell metal cocking hooks, and after having one of the plastic ones break, I don’t use anything else. I own both and prefer the one from Danny. Reason: weight. it is lighter and costs less! JMO! To the ...

Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
Cell phone is smarter than me... Tried to type luminok. Looks like you have lighted nock in the arrow? Ahhh…….gotcha. Yeah, auto correct is my worst enema....LOL I don't think so, it just looks like lime green, but I wouldn't know how to tell. The extra nocks are just lime green as well. I see you ...

Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
[/img] Yep same Danny Miller. He's phone only, no interwebs. Here you go, read away. http://www.boocustomstrings.com/importantstuff.html One other question why am I not able to post my photo? You'll need to host it off site at a site like imgur or whatever and then link it here. See the "off t...

Re: Excalibur purchase!! Next steps? :)
Readily available, the only option is the "Guardian Anti-dryfire" from Excalibur. Most places sell them, I'm sure Danny Miller will be able to help you out, assuming you are state side Another good starting point would be to find and read BOO's website. Tons of info there. Best tip you wi...
