Texas/Catholic/LEO joke...no offense to AJ
Father O'Malley’s First Encounter with Texas Police Father O’Malley rose from his bed one morning. It was a fine spring day in his new west Texas mission parish. He walked to the window of his bedroom to get a deep breath of the beautiful day outside. He then noticed there was a jackass lying dead i...

Re: Micro 335 owners
I shot the stock quills and 150Gr head from 1st year of gen 1 bow til last year. Last year I went with zombie slayers and 150 gr head 450gr total, I haven't noticed any difference in bow or accuracy. The stock quills passed through 7+ deer and only didn't 1 time-hit shoulder.

Thanks for your help/ extra effort, I'll check out the link and update you if able to secure one. Funny, I got better information on this crossbow forum than from several gun forums. Good people in here.

Availability, since Beretta purchased tikka, they are only offering the model I want in 223. They still offer the 308 in Canada.

Canadian gun export knowledge
Do any of my brothers in the far north know if it's possible to purchase a rifle in Canada and have it shipped to a dealer in the U.S. ? I am looking for a T3x COMPACT TACTICAL RIFLE JRTXC416 in 308 win. The only places I can find them in 308 are in Canada...al Flaherty's, etc. Thanks for any input.

Re: What Is The Downside To Shooting A Heavy Arrow (600gr+) At Deer?
Just for fun for all the engineers in here: Two engineers were standing at the base of a flagpole, looking at its top. A woman walked by and asked what they were doing "We're supposed to find the height of this flagpole," said Steve, "but we don't have a ladder." The woman took p...

O/T rifle scope for aging eyes
Any suggestions for rifle scope for someone who never wore glasses but is now on a second level of readers. I really noticed this year with 2 of my rifles that the old 3x9x30 isn't gathering enough light for my liking. This would be used on a 308 win. For whitetail and maybe black bear. Most shots w...

Re: I just HAD to ask...
I have actually used it on 5 deer now. Regret (along with 2 broken knives) not getting 1 years ago (it works that great). And yes, between it and my elbow gloves I am the talk of my camp.

Re: ANYBODY ON THE RIGHT COAST OF US EXPERIENCING CWD?
Truth stranger than fiction file: From the PA game commission site: There is currently no evidence to indicate that deer can spread the virus to humans. Recent research conducted by the United States Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has indicated that wild white...
