Wisconsin (my area) has a EAB ( shoot a doe and earn a buck). I havent got that yet (2missed) so sunday nite a buck comes by. All I can do is look, oh yes the camera batterys were dead so no pictures...........

I use the sling in the open going to the stand. In the woods I turn the bow 90 degrees with the sight in front of me carring it with my left hand. seems to work alright , but it is heavy.

I used to cut mine frozen with my Sears wood cutting bandsaw. When done, I took the saw outside and washed it out with the garden hose. I used the leaf blower to dry it . I now bone out all my vension.

I am using my Dad's old Colman lantern, it was bought about 1950.

Yes it is older than a lot of you people. It is "standard equipment " in my van during season, and they do light up the woods...

Turkeys and Deer

Someone once told me, "where you find turkeys you wont find deer" Our season opened Sept 16, I saw deer all week along with turkeys. Now all I see is turkeys. What do you guys (gals) think about this?? Should I find a new place to hunt? Should I wait for the deer to come back? Need some in...

Many, Many years ago we got about 15 miles from home and I discovered that I forgot my license. I redeemed myself that day by getting my first buck and the party deer. I'll never forget that...........
