Wanted to post up here with an update. Put a bearpaw to use earlier tonight, for a raccoon in the barn, hanging out near the chickens. What you are hearing is the string leveling out on the spool . That is the string on your C2 jumping off of the 2nd wrap on the spool. It is quite common and will not cause a problem. You can wax the crank string and it may help or you can shorten the crank string an inch or so and that may help. Most likely it will stop on its own after some use. Great, thank...

My Micro 335 does the same thing with the charger crank.

Being a newbie with my first Excalibur I have only fired my field points about 20 times. I purchased the B.A.T. Broadheads. They were the same price at Cabela’s.ca. Next time maybe I’ll just get the regular Boltcutters. Oh so much to learn for a very soon to be 62 year old man!

Hello, on this web page there is a section called Media Support. I tired to enter it but require a password. I was hoping this section would have how to videos, like how to wax a string or sighting in video and maybe general maintenance things.
