Zero trouble from the Excaliburs I have. I fell in the dark in the swamp over a cyprus knee. Threw the xbow 10 feet. Went back and shot it to make sure it was on. The arrows touched. I got my first with the xbow Sat night. A nice doe came along and was sort of on alert but at 15 yds nothing is that fast. I was in the ground blind and took her through one of the small observation windows - something you could not have done with a compound. She dropped on the spot and didn't go 3 ...

Looks good but I uncock my Exomax by hand.

I just pop up the Double Bull blind in rainy weather and it's dry inside.

The peta HQ is about 10 minutes from my house. I'm thinking about pulling in the lot with camo and xbow and getting someone to snap my pic with a nice deer using their building as a backdrop. You think they'll post it on their web site?

Where do you find parts like that? I'm in VA and with xbows newly legal this year there are very few other than new ones around.

I've read the posts on the older Vixens and the riser. What can I do to increase the power stroke on it? Or will I be just as well cutting bolts to 18"?
Trying to get a little more speed out of it. The one I bought has the disipator bars on it but a cast riser.

I'm food plot master at the hunt club I'm in. Went to a plot and there was 15 or so young birds in it. I rode the ATV right up to them and they looked at me. I started yelling at them to get out of my plot! LOL They just walked away real slow clucking. I wonder if they'll be any smarter next weekend...
