Have you become a crosbow collector now? ;) Well you have to equip the family ! LOL She has a compound but surgery and all made it not a viable option. So with the daughters (2) wanting to hunt and 1 is too young to pull enough poundage I need a couple of them. The Barnett is going bye-bye. The Vix...

:?: sounds strange, was the bolt all the way back on the string?? or was there a gap between the bolt and string GREYWOLF I was at the hunt club taking my time sitting on the porch shooting from a chair and a rest. There was no time from load to shoot and zero movement of the bow. I am very careful...

I've been careful not to shoot at the same spot so I'm pretty sure it wasn't damaged. I had just shot i...

I use a linesman belt when going up or down. While putting up a stand last year a rope-on ladder section slipped. I had my gear on and it took a few seconds to regroup and finish hanging the stand. Not a scratch. Made a believer out of me. I've heard it's a question of when not if you'll have a tree...

I had skewed ideas on xbows till I tried one. Also on who will be using them. 5 people in our club of 30 members are using them. There may be more by the time the season opens. All 5 shot a compound last year. Not a single gun only hunter is using one. They expect to sell 6,000 xbow licenses in VA t...

Thanks for the reply Farmer :) I'm wanting a bow for hunting and target. I really like the Reflex and Hoyt bows. I have a ton of compound bows and have owned probably half of everything out there at one time. I have a Hoyt SuperTec. More of a hunting bow and not as good for target as some others mi...
