Good luck to you all!!

Just to wish all you hunters good luck this weekend! The forecast for NB is for warm sunshine, so I hope it isn't too warm for your hunting. I may be joining you next year! It would be great to have some meat in our freezer for the winter...it's very expensive down here! Anyway guys, enjoy yo...

Haven't had much chance to practice for awhile with all the property repair work etc, but managed a few shots yesterday (just 15 arrows ) and after a poor first few, was soon on target. This was my third "three arrow" group....not bad eh? http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b253/grizzled47/I...

Thanks for the confidence booster TYE. It does seem like common sense in the books, so maybe I'll be ok!? It does seem like a lot of work just to be able to shoot and hunt though eh? Still, I suppose there have to be rules, and safety is very very important, so I don't mind having to do the c...

bow rack for compound vert

Hi Garyl, You are right. Ours is just like that. In fact we have two of the bedrooms knocked into one, making a nice big master bedroom. We love the place. There's plenty of forest all around us, and I know there are plenty of deer around. I will figure something out for the vert. It's great hearing...

Hi guys, Sorry for not replying sooner...very busy on property. TYE, I bought a "mobile home" with a couple of acres of land. It's a rather large "mobile" approx 1,250 sq ft, and is great...see pics. Our wooded area is around 1 1/2 acres, and is part of approx 100 acres. I'm stil...

Hey Grey wolf, that's a great rack, but I don't have anything like it!! And what is a screw-in bow holder Kenton?? Hi guys! I want to hang a compound vert bow on the wall in our living room. Have just the spot, but no idea how to do it!! Would like to hang it at an angle rather than horizontal...if you know what I mean, and maybe include a few arrows. It will really catch the eye in the place I have chosen for i...

that's better

Well thanks for that TYE. I'm sure we would have had fun shooting. It is about having fun, and I'm certainly enjoying myself. I was talking to a local today, and he told me there are loads of deer around here where we are living. It appears that the hunt was cancelled for a good number of years to i...

The pink and white stuff?? Well, the main body of the target is a big box stuffed full of fibre glass insulation. But that didn't really stop my arrows, and they kept passing right through and into the shed side!! So then I bought a sheet of polystyrene insulation and taped Four layers of this on th...
