Make sure you didn't get the pre-season broadheads, which are very dull and black in color to distinguish from the regular G-5's which appear to come already fairly sharp and hunt ready. Good Luck!

yea, what I'm calling the serving is the winding around the center of the string that is caught by the trigger mechanism and propels the bolt. I'm not sure which is causing the damage because it is very close to the center of the serving.

possible string problem....

I noticed that the serving on my string that came with my Exomax is starting to fray a little. Is this normal wear and tear, as I've only shot my bow about 20 to 30 times. I've got another string that came with my acessory kit that I was saving for a spare, should I go ahead and switch out?

Just found a site called American Whitetail Targets, they sell a target called the Crossbow King specifically designed for bolts, anyone had any experience with these targets. $37.95

I shot my Exomax at a two year old archery cube that stopped the bolts (arrows have always been difficult to pull out) and I couldn't get my bolts out until I went to Bass Pro and bought an arrow puller, the rubber kind that squeezes the shaft. Exomax arrived today!
