I’m a big believer that one should belong to a local, Provincial (state) and International organization.

I envy you guys!!

Your killing me with all your turkey talk!! No birds up here where I live. We do have some very limited Turley hunting in southern Alberta, It’s on draw and takes years to get a tag. I did draw a few years ago and with the help of a few of the guys here I did take a bird! It’s great sport. Should ge...

What Hunting Organizations do you belong to?

I’m curious as to what Hunting Organizations people belong to?

Here is my list,

Clear Water Archers, and the Ft. McMurray Fish and Game club, our local clubs.

Alberta Bowhunters Association,

Alberta Fish and Game Association

Pope and Young Club

Safari Club International, (SCI)

Crossbow Regulations web page?

I’ve been looking around for a up to date (that’s the key) web page with crossbow regulations for Canada and the US.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Here’s my take, arrow weight is not the deciding factor, you get great penet...

Don’t have much turkey experience, I’ve been once, my buddy twice. We happened to hit a big snow storm on my only trip. The birds were very vocal! ??? Me, I’d hope for snow!

Penetration

I’ve watched a lot of videos, lots of wild TV (to much the wife says) and I noticed that LOTS of bow shots end with little penetration. I just watched the new crossbow Compulsion. The exact opposite is true! It looked to me that all but Bill’s gator (fish arrow, not made for pass throughs) and Kath’...
