Re: What do you do with your bow in a tree stand?

I also tether mine through the thumbhole stock. I use a web belt across one shoulder and the chest. I can adjust the belt for length. I can also use it to carry my bow instead of the traditional sling. I tighten up the belt and the bow hangs under my arm and down my right side.

Re: Letting it Down, with the Rope Cocker

The more force you pull up with before releasing the trigger the less wear there will be.

Re: Cocking Rope

When you use the rope cocker make sure that the hooks are tight against the rail or you will get inconsistent cocking angles.

Crankaroo Q?

Can anyone please tell me -
How many versions of the crankaroo are there? Which bows do they fit? How do you tell the difference or identify the model?

Re: VA deer sightings???

Last week saw 2 to 8 in the yard about every day. This week not seeing them. I suspect you are correct - acorns beginning to fall. At least I think that is what you meant by 'white dropping' in the woods - maybe you have chickens :D

Re: Bi-pod Help

Frank - how high does the Harris allow you to set the bow? Do you have to be prone or can you shoot sitting?

Bi-pod Help

I have never used a bi-pod or even examined one up close but I am considering one for my Excalibur. I know I have seen some on the site but can't remember who had them. I would want one that would bolt right on & allow me to use a sling. Can anyone give me pro's & con's and suggestions? Woul...

Climbers don't require perfect trees but they do require limb free trees that are relatively straight trucked. Of course you can trim the limbs if you wish. All you need are trees without limbs as high as you want to climb & hunt. You can find stands 15-20lbs. depending on what model you buy. Fo...
