Sunday hunting

What if you're atheist or Jewish can you hunt on Sunday. Tell me what is the difference what day of the week it is, do you think the Turkey cares what day he dies as long as it's not today.

un-licensed calling

I don't see anywhere in the regs. where you need to have a license to call birds but if you don't have an open tag you can't have a gun with you while calling for your hunting partners.

backyard birds

I had 12 strutting toms and about 20 hens in my back field until a week and a half ago then I took the Wild Turkey course last Sunday they must have heard haven't seen them since.

I had been seeing a flock of about 35 with 12 strutting toms less than 200yds for my door until last week which coincidently was when I took the turkey seminar in Oshawa and now I haven't seen one since. But there were 15 nice whitetails in their place today. Time to find their roost and get set for...

Crows and Nutria

Watch out eating crows they are one of the major carriers of WEST NILE VIRUS. I saw a program on I think it was PBS a few years ago about harvesting Nutria and they had some tasty recipes.
