What have you bought or made and liked as far as carry in ladders to get up a stand you've put in previously?

Tree Damage
I know it's done all the time for maple sap but I don't know if going as deep as is needed to shore up a tree stand makes a difference. As far as I know all the action sap wise is going on just inside the bark layer, the rest is essentially dead wood. True? Does it matter the type or size of tree? H...

Funny story (I think)
Once I had my whole arm frozen for surgery on my hand. Surgery complete, one guy left in the operating room other then me, probably the orderly shifting me around for transport, or so I thought. All of sudden through the sheets I feel a hand on my groin. I look down and sure enough, there's a hand t...

Hunting as a landowner's agent question
I discussed this with a C.O. back in the spring. If I understand it correctly, it is a written authorization provided by the land owner to the hunter providing permission to hunt on the property and to act as his or her agent in the enforcement of trespass whether that be kindly warnings or having c...

Paper Tiger
More of a paper possum, no matter how nice, how reasonable I tried to be he was unable to exert self control. An unhappy man. The guy made it a no brainer. I'll buy elsewhere as even if I deal with staff ultimately the money trail ends with him. For me, service is equal to if not greater then all ot...

Based on my experience, heads up re London Shop
If you're headed to London. I've spent my last penny at that shop. Horrible attitude. If it were a singular experience I wouldn't bother giving you a heads up as any retailer can have a bad day but this guy's batting a thousand. I try to buy Canadian and at local "Ma and Pa" type shops whe...
