Here's my email to him.

Hi Richard, I was informed by a hunting acquaintance that Microsoft is donating funds to Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). He is concerned as apparently are others that funding this organization will do more harm then good. I'm in the dog business. I have been for twenty years. I have a sm...

Filson's or comparable store

Anybody buy stuff from Filson's ? http://www.filson.com/product/index.jsp ... age=family

I'm looking for stuff like that. Hard wearing clothes, life time no excuses guarantee. Any other stores with that sort of reputation.

I didn't arrive until later and everybody was on the range and the only two guys around wanted to know what I was doing there. I sort of felt like a trespasser. I was disappointed I wanted to meet some guys from the list and maybe meet some people from my own area.

The only hunting my wife ever did was for me. Turned out she was into catch and release though and I'm loose in the woods again.

Totally off topic

Here's the scoop. I went into EB games here in London to buy an x box game. It had a rating that required purchase by an adult. I was asked to produce my driver's license. As I'm often mistaken as a teenager, (I'm in my 40's) I understood and readily complied. The clerk then took out a sheet and beg...

Testing Camping Equipment/Green House Gases/Bonding w Sons

There have been a few things standing in between my sons and I going camping. First is my vehicle a jeep Rubicon. Just can't cram gear and guys realistically. Solved problem when I bought a utility trailer. So bought a cheap 4 man tent (note the adjectives) to test. We won't be doing anything hard c...

Thanks for this. I'm definitely going to try and make it with my sons and nephew. Are there fees associated? Won't be able to go until after church though. So around 1, will it be over?

Further Update

I wish the dad if he didn't have the experience himself had got someone that new hunting and pigs to teach the kid not the legal ethics but the moral ethics. The rest of the story is here from his website. From what I've read, written by the fellow he doesn't seem a bad sort. Just needs a good hunte...

Good question. The kayak has built in's. I want to leave the kayak in the trailer whenever it's not in the water. So at home, I can just hook up and go. So the idea is to secure the rod holders in the trailer only.

OT - Home made fishing rod cases help

I just bought a trailer I'm customizing a bit for kayak fishing. I want to build in some rod holders tubes and I'm looking for various ideas. I was thinking it might be nice to take the standard pvc approach cut it end to end in half, put some hinges, a handle and something so I can lock it to the t...
