While I personally usually recommend contacting a breed rescue organization, if you're looking for a working dog it's best to find a truly reputable breeder. If you're looking for a purebred pet - consider adopting a rescue which has been fostered, temperament tested, and health assessed from an or...

This is one of the properties I hunt, the same one where I made the movie I posted on another thread. You'll see yarding deer (and turkeys)

Looked like he was just high on life to me.

He seemed to be dragging something from around his lower part as well?

I remember reading about that place. Something about a burial ground? Is it in a place called Amityville? Do you come home and find the fridge upside down, the table and chairs on the ceiling? Does your dog stare into space and growl?

I work with dogs for a living so maybe I can help. What are using the dog for? Hunting? Pet only? That affects where I would point you. I understand wanting a certain look for a dog so yellow is fine but there are more important factors to consider when looking for breeders. Blood lines vary tremend...

Long Time No Chat

Off list for some time. Reasons too many to mention. Had a good season, more opportunities then I've ever had in the past but passed on everything. I'm getting soft maybe but there was enough meat in the freezer to see me through to next year anyway. Made a nice movie on one deer hunt with a camera ...

Pictures of string postion on riser

Anybody have some pictures showing the string position? I've replaced my string and balled things up somehow. I'm pretty sure the string was setting farther ahead and if I have to take it off I want to get it right the next time or so.

I've tried accessing the stringing aid video and a couple of others. None of the links work in Firefox or Internet Explorer browsers. Any ideas?

Slightly edited

I've had no problem with them however, I realize that the more "mechanical" the more likely. Then again, with correct shot placement and the sheer power of the excalibur even if the blades don't deploy correct me if I'm wrong the deer is going down.

Cleaning and Sharpening Used Broadhead

I harvested a deer the other day. I use the open on contact type blades I can't remember the name right now) and I want to know what you advise as to cleaning and preparing for use again. Last year I just washed it up but was wondering outside of the obvious if more attention should be paid.
