Re: Excalibur Hard Case (with pictures)

Thanks for the pics and info!

I would be interested to hear if anyone has any experience checking one of these new hardcases on an airline.

Did it work out?

Is it considered a regular checked item, or is it charged oversize?

Thanks!

If any other crossbowers in the US has been looking for one of these, send me a PM. I am located in Memphis, TN and could ...

Horton

Well it works, but its not nearly as slick as the Excalibur rope cocker (and it cost 20% more!). Hope I find my Excalibur rope cocker soon!

will a Horton cocking strap work on a Phoenix?

Lost my Excalibur cocking aid, and needed an emerg replacement. BPS only had the Horton in stock.

So I bought the Horton. Does anyone know if it will cock my Phoenix safely and easily?

Welcome FinnishFlash!

Is there much public hunting in Finland, or is it mostly on private clubs or reserves?

Great photos. If you're getting 'em so good it gets boring, maybe you ought to try hunting em with an Excalibur!

I might go with the Excalibur case, but I have some Cabelas gift certs burning a hole in my pocket! So is there a Cabelas soft case that fits the Phoenix?

If so is the Excalibur padded case better than what Cabelas sells?

Which Cabelas case did you buy for your Phoenix? They have a couple different soft cases, and I want to make sure I get one that fits for my Phoenix!
