Am a rank amateur w/ crossbows, but the 1st thing I did when I got it was order a scope mount. These old eyes appreciate the optics on my muzzleloader and my shotgun as well.

OK- I know I'm being a pain where a pill can't reach, but...Tried using the included cocking aid. Put the hooks on the string on each side of the riser, pulled it back and managed to catch the cocking string but not the crossbow string??!! how DOES this gadget work???

Appreciate the info fellows! Just rec'd my Vixen but one end of the flemish string did not have a loop! Added a loop and twisted to your legnth/brace height and gave her a go...fantastic/fast! Two shots and my string had already stretch out some though. Am considering fast flight string...but how do...

Won the bid and she is on the way! May have paid too much?? but after reading the posts here, just had to have one! Is there a significance/ difference (other than the obvious) between the black and current vixens? I have 2219s- are they too heavy? Thanks, DWT
