Flat noks, i use the plastic ones in my alum. 2216's and 2219's. Helps give better FOC. I also use carbons now, in 3-D shoots.

I take Miss Vixen & rope cocker 4 arrows in quiver, pocket knife, bug spray until they go away. Headnet and gloves, camera, billfold with lic. & my cell phone just in case i need help. I hunt within 1/4 mile of house.

They tend to shoot abit higher from above than on level ground. At 20 yds. won't be more than 1 1/2" max. So you could shoot a 23 yd. deer and your dot at 20 yds. would be dead on.

I don't use any of those scents either. I just locate trails between bedding and food areas. Set up my ladder stand and hunt. I have hunted 12 hours since last sat. and have saw 10 deer. Harvested a 4 pt. 11 yd. shot!
