Excalibur Crossbow Forum

Thinking about ordering a new x-bow. Any recommendations on where to order a bow from. I know it seems price range varries from place to place. Just looking for an honest dealer.

I appreciate the replies. I had an exocet and it was great. But, for the money I thought I would just get the phoneix if it was sufficient. I will probably be hunting 4 or 5 times a year with it. I just weight about 150 Lbs. so not sure if I want the exomax.

I am looking to buy another crossbow. I had a exocet 200 that I really liked just didn't get time to use it. So, I sold it. Now, I looking to buy another. How much harder is it to pull back an exomax with the rope cocker? Would I be able to tell much of a difference for deer hunting between a phonei...

Thanks for all the replies. Mine are still in the arrow, but sticking out about 1/8 inch. Can I put them on wood and peck them back in there or do I need to try and pull them out. Thanks and May God BLess You, Thomas

A few of the arrows that I shoot with my exocet have the insert starting to come out. These are the first carbon arrows I've ever used. They are the ones that come with the excalibur packages. How do I push it back in there without messing up the arrow. Thanks and May God BLess YOu, Thomas

Just put a vari-zone scope on my new exocet. It is hitting fine with the crosshairs at 20 yds. I'm not sure what speed to set the dial too. The windage adjustments just works on the crosshairs. Is this right? Thanks, Thomas

Just wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes a hard plastic case for an exocet. If not, I'm sure it would be a good product for some company. Thanks,

As greywolf said, just get some slicktricks. I just got a crossbow about a month ago. I was wondering about tuning them myself. I put the 100 gr. slicktricks on there and they hit just like my field points. No tuning at all.
