Hey All:
I just wondered how hard it is to get your Excal and equipment across the border and back from Canada?
Anyone done it an did they run into any issues?
This would be driving across, not flying.
Thanks
Mike

Re: Message from New President
Welcome Rob:
It's nice to see the new Prez can take the time to say hello to the faithful.
I just upgraded to an Exocet from an old carved tip that served me well for years.
Looking forward to years of use and great service from a great company.

info needed on good target for Exomax
Hey Folks: I just bought a used Excal Exomax. I live in Ontario and would like to get a target (best priced) that will do for target and sighting in. Obviously I want one that will stop the carbon arrow before it ruins the fletching. Any suggestions on homemade setups would be appreciated also. I wi...

Well boys, I've got several blemishes and after 38 years probably don't perform as good as the day my wife bought into me...I sure hope she doesn't send me back for replacement!!!!

Re: warm boots
There is a new product from Thermacell out. They are rechargeable insoles. Similar to other foot warmers except you have a handheld cordless control that allows you to shut it off or adjust it to a a number of settings. It looks like they're selling for around $130 canadian. Cabelas, Canadian Tire (...

Welcome to the forum and you will find you have accessed the ultimate site for help with your Excal questions. I do more reading than writing (posts) and there is a wealth of information on here. You sound like someone who is ready to try the thrill of hunting moose in northern Ontario. Once you've ...

Re: i saw the light
Hi Munch:
I just did the wikipedia on a Fisher. Although somewhat uncommon they list the male as growing 35 to 47 inches. If they stood on their backlegs that might be your nightime visitor. It's just the shape of the head that makes me think it's one. I could be wrong though.
Good Luck

Hey, that's either a weasal, mink or martin. I'm not sure which one has the dark tips on it's ears but the tips on that animal look dark. How high was the camera on the tree? That might help. All those animals have long bodies and will stand on their backlegs if curious.

Re: My first buck ever!
Hey, I've been through muddy fields to pull goods bucks out and panting all the way you drag them. Know that every time you wash your feet in the shower you'll remember the joy of getting your feet dirty to get that big boy out!!!!!!!!!! There I've planted the seed in your mind...tell me if it's not...

Hey, that buck is a beauty. The pretty boy bucks that don't want to mix it up with the other big boys and don't break a point are chickenpoop.
Be proud of that big boy...

Question about night time Trail Cam pics
Hi All: I purchased a trail cam and have been using it near my setup. I just wondered if the deer are spooked by the camera flash in dark conditions. It would seem to me that if a deer were walking through the dark bush and then there was a bright flash of light that he would take off like he was hi...
