Re: 8 Ptr with the Vortex

Man you must have a great hunting area to be able to consider passing up a buck like that.
I'm sure he'll be good eating for you...cornfed and all Congrats.

Question about gun cleaing...

Sorry to bother everyone so close to crossbow season but I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried using brake cleaner on their guns parts. Re: Rattle bag v. rattling antlers

I have used real antlers and the bags. I find that it is better to use them in conjunction with a buck decoy. Re: Fawns

I saw a big Doe followed by a very small Fawn last Thursday.
They were crossing a road from the Golf Course I work at to a quiet Cedar Grove on the other side of the road for the day.
Both looked quite healthy. Fawn musn't have been more than a few days old.

Hi all: Finally got lucky on a mature Tom yesterday AM. Not that big , but I'm still happy. Got to my spot just before light but met the owners leaving for the airport for their daughters graduation, so had to stop and talk. When I finally got walking to the back of the property I heard a Gobbler vo...

Date for extra deer tags, Ontario

Hey Gang:

Does anyone know offhand the date and phone number for the extra tag draw in Ontario (for deer).
If you could put it on it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hey Crazyfarmer:

It's 0 degrees Celcius more times than not here in Ontario during the late deer season.
The Canadians you see in the late season pictures are not really chubby they just have about 6 layers of thermals on...

He might be a young buck but he has a good sized body and I'm sure he'll be a good eater.
