Beautiful buck...I'd love to hear what it scored, please post if you have it scored.

Hmm... Friday the 13th, supposed to be unlucky. I see if was for him, but certainly not for you.

Happy Hunting :D

packaging now used in stores...

Is it just me or is everyone sick of the hard plastic packaging that pretty well everything comes in nowadays? I was trying to get some boradheads out of the packaging the other days and it's a wonder someone doesn't get cut badly trying to get into these packages. Sorry about the rant but I'm tired...

Thanks Boo, I'll check that.
I've been thinking of getting a newer Excalibur but this old Xbow I have is so dependable.
Just take it out of the case and go to sight it in every summer/fall and it is right on.

help with info on noise suppression...

Hi Guys:

I have an old 175lb carved limb Excalibur crossbow. It shoots great but is very noisy.
Is there anything I can get for noise suppression? Do the disapators work on the older crossbows?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the info and great ideas...I've been looking around and haven't come across them lately. I don't even see them listed in the catalogues. I guess because they are such a small inexpensive item.
They sure are uselful though.

Anyone ever used the small reflective tacks to mark trail???

I just wondered if anyone here has used the small tacks with the reflective (white) heads as trailmarkers on the way in and out of stands in the dark. I had a small container of them but over the years the number has dwindled (forgot to take them out etc.) I found they are great as even with a cap l...

checking the wind direction...

Even at that age Boo was into deer hunting. That puff of powder was his way of checking the wind direction...I guess it keeps your hand free for a good shot with the bow!!! :D

Happens all the time with me too!

I hate it when a bird with a brain the size of a pea outsmarts me.
I wish they hadn't told us how small the Turkey's brain is in the Seminar...it makes me feel dumb...

Question about Undertaker Chokes...

I purchased an Undertaker Choke from BassPro in Ontario.
When I got looking at it I noticed in fine print "Lead Shot Only".

Does this mean I can't use Heavy Shot in it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

wait 'til next season...

"Just like this one, super-super-clean, inside and out ... unscathed bed, liner and tonneau cover:"

I'm willing to bet once the season opens for whitetail the superclean unscathed bed might end up with a little blood in it. LOL

Reason for re-classification and increase in price...

The free part is exactly why the price has gone from 2.50 to 6.95. When everyone was watching for free they know how much time and how many people are tuned in. They price it according to what they think they can get. I look forward to day I dump Rogers...they put promotions on and when you are not ...
