I had one of those and the reticle became loose and turned inside the tube ,, it was replaced and that one went bad also ,, so from reccomendations from a friend of mine I bought a leupold 2 - 7 scope no problems but there are only 3 aiming points top of duplex is zeroed at 20 yds and main cross hai...

Thanks Boo I did not know which dacron material was best , but I have seen the strands sorta frayin with the B 500 this was the material that I had a string to flat snap upon shooting right in the center serving ,, I enjoy crafting my own hunting equipment strings arrows etc ,, good hobby and a man ...

A long time ago say 15 years a friend of mine and I bought a string jig ,, we were building strings for vertical bow's and also we built the cable system for dual cam bows and that was a good durable material that would not creep as much as other materials so we did not have to time our cams as ofte...

I like 2219's 21 inch the way I build them they wind up 524 grn with 100 grn slick trick ,, around 16% FOC 306 fps from EQUNOX over 100 ft lbs energy !

Yes I have had a string break up on fireing a bolt I bought a dvd in order to learn how to build flemish strings ,, some of the crossbow gurus suggested arround 30 to 32 strands so I began to twist them up,,but I bought BCY B 500 and made them 39 strands three bundle 13 per ,, and on the third servi...

Firearms for sure DPMS LR .260 & .338 Federal upper's one lower give me varmit control and offers home defence .338 for close range hunting 250 yds and closer,, my 870 for small game and home defence ,, I love my excal's to ,,but firearms are the reason the American Indian was run off their land...

I just have more confidense in something that I did for myself be it reloaded ammo crafted for a particular fire arm or a bow string that I built ,, an arrow ,, bolt that I assembled wehn you do it yourself you know exactly what you got !!!!!! trial and error if you have the time it is rewarding for...
