I have wondered if the carbon hunting clothing is worth the money. Maybe someone here can do a little experiment for us. The catch word in the MNR reply is "ONLY." If the guy with the gun is licensed to hunt moose or deer for that mater and there is an open season for those species then he would be breaking the law even if he says I'm only hunting bears.

It's just the MNR's way of keeping it simple.

That is the bull that was posted on here last fall. What a monster!
In a little over a month we will back up north to see if he can do it again.

Here is a link to a post from last fall of a moose taken by an older vixen. http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11243&highlight=moose I just thought you might want to know that this Moose was officially scored at 221 inches. Which would probably make this the largest Moose e...

( If a city doesnt include the actual wording of bows and crossbows into the firearm bylaw, then technically thats a loophole isn't it? just curious is all....JR ) You maybe right on the loophole, but thats what we have judges for and you would be taking a big chance if the judge disagrees with you...

I have only hunted in 1 of Niagara's Conservation Areas and yes it was a high traffic area for hunters as well as other people just out for a walk in the woods. I just hunted mornings on week days which worked well for keeping the amount of foot traffic to a minimum. As far as hunting in city owned ...

Luck, Skill or A Lot of Both?

We went to Thunder Bay in Sept for the moose hunt but because of truck problems we arrived a half day late. Our friend, who lives in Thunder Bay that we hook up with, decided to go out that morning on his own (he had his own tag). He did his first call just before shooting time and got an immediate ...

I picked up some orange chamois from Princess Auto when they had them on sale for a buck. They are 18" X26" so you can sure make alot of scent pads out of them. I make mine fairly large as I also use them as my distance markers at the same time. They hold lots of scent as they are very abs...
