That design looks like it may be susceptible to opening up early on a crossbow launch. The head jamming rearward when it hits the target is what opens it, so the xbow launching the bolt forward into the head could also open it. I guess we will have to wait and see if someone try's it on an excal. If...

I have a maxpoint and they are nice xbows'. No complaints. I do wish excal would have stayed with one compound model like the paradox. By now they would have really been pushing the speed envelope with a compound. Although the mag and max are no slugs when it comes to speed. The extra width of my ma...

Not sure if your phoenix has a package or what, but I will give you 250 shipped for the xbow only. I am in Ohio. That is 20 bucks more than I paid for my used exomag with an accessory package. It must have the forward riser though. Save you the hassle of advertising. That is 250 US. I love guys who ...

I will get one on its way Sumner. Looking for a nice little box that is good and sturdy. Hey I am the same way, I figure if I am going to take the time to practice I want to be the best I can be. I think you will like the nitron. It looks small but it has a 1 1/8 or 1/16 cutting edge. The make a 125...

Muzzy 4 blades 100 and 125 grain bolts fly great up to 300 fps, when you start shooting them 330-355 they start to lose some of the accuracy. The blades are just a little too long for some of the really high xbow speeds. I am not saying you can not use them at that speed but at 50 yds best groups I ...
