Re: Cost of License
Just wondering what others pay for License's. I got mine tonight. 36.00$ That is for a general hunting license and an Archery Stamp. I can kill 1 Buck with this license, 2 Turkeys [1 Spring and 1 Fall] and lots of Small Game which I no longer hunt. Also Coyotes, Fox, Groundhogs ect. which I do hunt...

I was taught you eat what you kill and you do not waste anything. Those that cut the heads off and leave the rest give me a sour outlook on the subject. We have that happen here too every year where some one cuts off the head and leaves the carcass to rot. Of course I think a lot of them are poache...

Re: NEW SAXMAN UPDATE!
Hey, Ya'll ... Sax sent me a PM this afternoon and wanted me to update folks on the forum, as he doesn't feel well enough to sit up and type for long. He says that things aren't going well with his kidney transplant. His body is rejecting the new kidney and he's in failure again ... and that his la...

Watch GaryL's videos
While I don't own the E-Z Fletch YET, I watched Gary's VERY informative videos on flwtching a bolt with the jig and it didn't look like any tricks were necessary. Here's his post: http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16628 Incidentally, video clip #3 is a definite MUST see. ...

Length 18-20 inches 250-275 gr I like 4 inch vanes by Duravane Gold Tip Laser lls or Beman Thunder bolts I prefer 100 gr Slick Tricks or Montec G5s These combos will work on most Excalibur xbows I would agree with all of the above, with the exception of the 250-275 gr weight, since I know Digger me...

Hi, I haven't, but for what it's worth, with the hearty recommendations here for the Slick Tricks AND the fact that they are 4 blade, I'm going to try them first rather than the Sonics. Your mileage may vary, standard disclaimer, etc, yada yada... :) If you do try them, let us know how they work. I'...

your choice
Hi Tommy, First, Welcome to the forum! Now, I'm an Excal newbie myself, but I've read enough to know that even the Vixen is a fine deer crossbow. In general, for deer-sized game, the higher weight bows only make you go farther to retrieve your bolt after it passes through the animal. It's all about ...
